This little shop started with a big idea - and a very small archaeologist-in-training. I'm an archaeologist based in New York, and one afternoon, while playing with my two-year-old nephew, I wondered: "How can I share what I love with him in a way that he understands?" That question turned into a dig site made of kinetic sand, shiny gems, and toy bones... and from there, this shop was born.

At Trowel & Treasure, we create sensory kits that invite you to dig into history - literally! Our jars are designed to spark imagination, curiosity, and a love of discovery by blending creativity and hands-on play with real-world themes like archaeology and paleontology. Each kit is a playful way for little hands to unearth big adventures.

We believe in making science and history accessible and exciting for learners of all ages. Every child (or adult!) deserves a chance to explore the past - and have a blast doing it.
